As an evangelical ministry, our mission and core values here at The Message compel us to apply a Christian approach to our work. It is therefore a genuine legal ‘occupational requirement’ that post holders must be committed Christians who believe in the Lordship of Christ and the authority of scripture, and who wants to see the Christian message communicated effectively to young people.

We are, however, a very broad church and as long as applicants for these positions are practicing Christians and will bring a Christian heart and mind to the role it doesn’t matter what creed or church tradition they are part of.

For each of our vacancies you’ll find detailed information about the role as well as the experience we’d applicants to have in the job description.

When shortlisting we always look at how applicants match these criteria, so do make sure you cover each of these points and the experience and knowledge you have in your application form and CV.

We always aim to contact candidates within two weeks of the closing date to let them know if they have been shortlisted or not.

Currently, we only have a South African base in Cape Town. However, keep an eye out for future openings which may include other areas of South Africa.
