We Love Message Sundays!

If you’ve spent any time with us, you’ll know this: we are passionate about the local Church. It’s at the heart of everything we do. This year alone, we’ve had the incredible privilege of partnering with churches across South Africa to host 13 Message Sundays—and every single one has been a celebration of God’s goodness.

But maybe you’re wondering, What exactly is a Message Sunday?
Let me paint the picture.

Imagine walking into your church on a Sunday morning and finding the atmosphere buzzing with anticipation. The Message Trust team is there—not just to visit, but to lead the entire service. From powerful worship and creative performances to life-changing testimonies and a Word that speaks straight to the heart, it’s a day designed to inspire and ignite mission.

To make it simple, we’ve summed up the essence of a Message Sunday in one easy acronym: HEYA.

H – Hello, We’re the Message

For many in the congregation, this is their first introduction to The Message Trust. We get to share who we are and what God is doing through our team—an invitation into a story of hope and transformation.

E – Examples of Work (Our Stories)

We’re a storytelling movement. Every Message Sunday is an opportunity to share real-life stories of God at work—whether through a team member’s testimony, a powerful video, or a glimpse into one of our recent projects. These stories make the mission tangible.

Y – You Speak the Word

This is where the heart of the service comes alive. Our team brings a message rooted in Scripture, paired with creative ministry from our Message Music artists. It’s worship, Word, and witness—all woven together to point people to Jesus.

A – A Call to Action

We never want inspiration to end at the door. We invite churches and individuals to partner with us in practical ways—through prayer, financial support, or by adopting a project. It’s about moving from hearing to doing.
