Before the first meeting kicks off, one person has already started shaping the atmosphere of our office—Linda Ndzala, or as we all call her, Mamma Linda.
For the past nine years, she’s been a steady, joyful presence at The Message Trust. Originally from Langa, Cape Town, and a proud mom, Linda joined our team and has been bringing us joy ever since. She started in a role many might overlook—but if you’ve ever walked into our office you’ve felt her impact.
Her work? It’s everywhere. From spotless windows to tidy offices, from clean kitchens to welcoming spaces—Mamma Linda does it all with care and excellence. She doesn’t just clean; she creates an environment where people can thrive. And she does it with grace, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. Her afternoons are filled with finishing up tasks and chatting with team members—many of whom see her as more than a colleague. She’s a friend and a mother figure to many in our team.
“The Message has changed my life,” she says. “The team treats me with respect, and I’ve grown through the gospel in ways they might not even realise. Four years to retirement, but I still love working at The Message Trust.”
In a world that often overlooks the unseen, Linda reminds us that true impact isn’t always loud—it’s faithful, consistent, and full of heart.
Her story is a testament to how every person, in every role, helps carry the vision forward.
