Every month, our team takes time to recognise someone who has gone above and beyond in living out our values and serving with excellence. For September, we’re thrilled to introduce Mishay as our Messenger of the Month!
Originally from Cape Town, Mishay has only been with The Message Trust for three months, but her impact has already been deeply felt. From day one, she’s brought a contagious energy, a heart full of compassion, and a deep passion for sharing the gospel—especially with young people.
A fun fact? Mishay can hold her breath underwater for an impressive four minutes! But what truly sets her apart is her humility and servant-heartedness. Whether she’s supporting the team in the office or serving alongside our Creative Mission team in Citrusdal, Mishay is always ready to lend a hand, offer a listening ear, and go the extra mile. Recently, in a mission trip to Citrusdal, many of the young people indicated how impactful her story was when sharing it in front of schools and communities as part of the week of mission.
“One of my core values is humility,” she shares. “I believe in staying teachable, treating everyone with respect, and serving wholeheartedly.”
Her love for Jesus and her desire to plant seeds of hope and truth in the next generation shine through in everything she does. Her teammates have noticed—and that’s why they voted her as this month’s Messenger of the Month.
We love celebrating our team and cheering each other on. Mishay’s story reminds us that impact isn’t about how long you’ve been around—it’s about how deeply you care and how faithfully you serve.
