Two Saturdays of Rugby

Over the past few Saturdays, our young rugby players have shown courage, resilience, and teamwork on the field.

On the first Saturday, our U13 Sakhumzi Rugby team faced Brackenfell Juniors in a friendly match, securing a 47-17 victory. But this game was more than just about the score—it was about character. Despite facing difficulties through the game, our boys and girls stood strong, showing humility and Godly character throughout. They supported each other, remained focused, and let their actions speak louder than words. A massive well done to Sakumzi and the team for making us proud!

On the second Saturday, our Nyanga team delivered an outstanding performance against Khaya Rose, with our U16 squad dominating 43-0. Meanwhile, our U14 team played a thrilling match against Langa Rugby Academy, ending in a 19-19 draw. These young players are proving their talent and commitment despite facing challenges—including the lack of proper rugby kits and transportation difficulties.

We are so proud of their dedication and hard work, what we see on the field is a reflection of their development and growth. The team in Nyanga is committed to developing sports through the foundation of faith giving young people the platform to share their Christ-like character on and off the rugby field.
