After ten years of serving with KineticIV, I’ve seen God move in countless ways—but our recent pre‑release concert may go down as one of the most special moments in my journey with this team.
As we prepare to drop our brand-new EP on 20 February 2026, we wanted to give young people a first listen and create a night where they could encounter Jesus in a real way. Thanks to the generosity of Claremont Baptist Church (CBC)—one of our incredible Message Trust partner churches—we were able to host the event for young people in Cape Town.
We spread the word far and wide: inviting every youth group we knew, partnering with CBC, and even sharing the event on radio. And honestly? We didn’t know what to expect.
But when over 100 young people poured through those doors… wow. It was one of those moments that reminds you why we do what we do.
The room was full, the energy was buzzing, and the support from our Message Trust team was unbelievable. Everyone showed up, served, and helped create a space where young people felt welcomed and loved. I was genuinely humbled.
For me, the highlight of the night wasn’t the music (although… the new EP is fire 🔥). It was the moment Carlyle shared the gospel.
As he gave the salvation call, something beautiful happened. Young people stood up—but not alone. Their friends stood with them, walking side by side so no one had to move toward Jesus by themselves. That image—of teenagers supporting each other, choosing courage, choosing faith—will stay with me as I continue to serve young people across our nation.
God showed up in that room. No question. And after ten years in KIV, nights like this remind me exactly why I’m still here. It’s always been about Jesus and the young people He loves so deeply.
As we step into a new season, there are so many ways you can partner with us:
- Listen to KIV’s music – streaming it truly helps us grow the ministry.
- Pray for us – we value this more than anything.
- Invite us to your youth group – if you’d like KIV to visit your youth this year, we would love to connect.

We’re excited, expectant, and thankful. And we can’t wait to see what God does next.
