Ten years ago, I showed up to an audition with The Message Trust SA. I didn’t know what to expect—just that I wanted to use music to make a difference. That day marked the beginning of KineticIV.
We started as four young people with a shared passion for Jesus and a love for music. We didn’t have all the answers, but we had unity and a clear mission: to reach young people with the gospel.
The name “KineticIV” Kinetic meaning motion, says it all—movement, momentum, and Romans 1:5, which reminds us of the commission we’ve received to share the gospel.
A lot has changed since then. The original team has moved on, and new voices have joined. But the heartbeat is the same, using music as a platform to share the gospel. We still ask, “Where’s the need?” and we go—into schools, prisons, communities, wherever people are. It’s not just about performing it’s about sharing hope, a hope whose name is Jesus.
We’ve seen lives touched, not because we’re special, but because God is faithful. Young people connect with the music, yes—but more than that, they connect with the story. With the mission. With the message.
What’s kept us going? Our Purpose and heart to see Cape Town transformed. We’re not just a band—we’re a team, a family and we’re still moving.
So now, we celebrate, for the first time ever in celebration of ten years of ministry we are hosting our first concert. When? The 28 November 2025 Where? Claremont Baptist Church How much? tickets are R60 with a group discount of R500 for 10 tickets.
