In April, we stepped into a new and exciting chapter with CCFM 107.5 FM, launching a weekly radio show called “We Are the Messengers.” It’s been an incredible journey so far, and every week brings fresh stories, new voices, and a growing sense of what God is doing across our city.
The show is hosted by Shaun Pretorius and Keenan Farquhar. Together, we’ve created a space where listeners can hear about the real work of mission happening in Cape Town—from the streets to the churches, from youth groups to community hubs.
Our heart for the show is simple: we want to raise awareness of missional engagement across the city and host real, down to earth discussions for young people. We believe that when people hear what’s happening—how others are serving, loving, and living out the Gospel—it stirs something in them. It moves hearts toward action. Toward becoming missional themselves.
We kicked things off by introducing listeners to Message Trust South Africa, sharing who we are and what we’re about. Since then, we’ve welcomed a variety of guests from churches and missional organisations across Cape Town. Each one brings their own story, their own passion, and their own way of showing God’s love to the city.
The conversations are honest, the stories are powerful, and the vision is clear: Cape Town is full of messengers, and we want to help amplify their voices.
