Our Creative Missions team, along with our Academy students, successfully hosted our annual Holiday Club in Citrusdal, a farm area in partnership with the Hebron Community Projects (HCP).
This year, we welcomed over 180 children from grades 1 to 7, along with 50 teens and their farm leaders. The theme for the week was “Jesus is the Way,” guiding our activities and interactions throughout the program.
The holiday club featured a variety of engaging activities, including themed crafts, deeper dives into the Word, games, and a massive sports day. We also incorporated Genetik Session workshops focusing on vocals, rap, poetry, and dance. One of the highlights of this year’s club was the active participation of local teens who, although not officially part of the program, recognized the importance of serving their younger peers. In a community where young people often face challenges related to drug and alcohol abuse, it was heartening to see these teens embrace their roles as positive role models while still enjoying the childlike spirit of the holiday club.
We concluded the week with an invitation for the kids to commit to “live with Jesus every day,” reinforcing our theme. To celebrate, we organized a concert for the parents, showcasing the incredible talent of the kids. Many parents left astonished by the hidden abilities of their children, further affirming the transformative power of our Holiday Club.
